The Chapel

NEXT TO THE HOSPITAL, IS THE NEW CHAPEL WHERE ALL ARE INVITED TO COME TO WORSHIP THE LORD AND ACCEPT HIS SAVING GRACE. ALONG SIDE THE LARGE CHURCH DOWN BY THE LAKE, THIS NEW FACILITY IS EASY FOR THE HOPITAL STAFF AND PATIENTS TO GET TO.

SCHOOL OF NURSING "FUN" RAISING

After my last visit to Mashoko Missions Hospital I came to the conclusion that its future rest in the hands of God who has called on all of us to help support His effort to bring people to Christ. What a wonderful opportunity we had to be a part of God's plan in completing the school of nursing which will bring hope and offer of everlasting life to those who come to the hospital seeking help for their sick bodies.

When I took on this project to raise money, I knew I had neither experience nor knowledge on how to do it. Another words, I did not know what I was doing. But many were praying for money to be given that would help finish the school of nursing facilities.

I could tell that many were praying for the project of raising money because it came together with little effort on my part. On my last visit to Mashoko, I used my camcorder to video Dr. Bungu explaining the reasons why the school of nursing was vital to the existence of the hospital and its staff. After I returned home, I bought the necessary hardware and software to edit the video and make copies for distribution. I also worked on creating a brochure to go with the video. I never created a brochure before either. Late one night I wanted to dress up the brochure with something special but I did not know how to do it. My elbow hit the key board by accident and a heart showed up on the brochure….just perfect in size and location. They say when God wants something done, just move over and watch. They also say, all in God's timing. Well, the timing was perfect. Right after Polly Mullen, Dr. Bungu's forwarding agent, help get the brochures, letters, return envelopes, and video out to the churches and individuals, Dr. Bungu and his family came to the States to make their normal visitation to supporting churches. It was great timing for Dr. Bungu could follow up on the fund raiser by answering any questions and re-supporting the cause.

As you can tell, I had little to do with it. So the thanks needs to be given to those who prayed, those who gave, and mostly to Him who provided, our Lord and Savior. I am just happy to be a part of His will knowing that His will is going to be done with or without me.
